This year the Fauquier NAACP Education Committee received numerous scholarship applications from local students who demonstrated both academic excellence and community service. After careful review of all applications, the following students were chosen as recipients of scholarships for the 2021-22 school year:

Fauquier High School: JONATHAN JOLICOEUR. Jonathan will be attending Saint Vincent College in Latrobe, Pennsylvania.

Liberty High School: ASHANDRA ASAMOAH. Ashandra has enrolled at the University of Virginia (UVA).

Kettle Run High School: ZACHARY HALLAM. Zachary is attending CCBC Essex in Baltimore, Maryland.

Each student received a $500 scholarship and was recognized during their respective school's awards ceremony. Fauquier NAACP congratulates each of these outstanding students on their success and sends them best wishes as they continue their education.
